We're making the WYSIWYG that never was.
To answer that question, we need to step into what we're doing for our Application Development clients.
We're developing a CSS Framework to allow our client's development staff to build their own layouts. It's built around Grids, Modules, and Snippets. Current frameworks place alot of importance on the markup or css guru being the user. That still creates a need for us, theres still a back and forth, especially if the development staff is an agile one.
Typically, the clients this framework appeals to are clients launching a large web app, with a rapid deployment time, and a design-tight budget. Our framework / App-Dev process is going to solve these needs.
The process we go through actually only requires a set of wireframes and a design to start. We'll build your framework in such a way, that you can start with it before the designers are done. When the designers finish, the markup and work you've already done will magically look just like the newest designs, because while you start working, and once we finish doing the css for the newest designs, we'll drop in an image and stylesheet pack during the night ;)
Once you have ahold of the framework with the completed custom work we've done, the development team will be able to drag and drop their snippets visually. It's the WYSIWYG that never was.
We're using this internally right now, but to release it to the public, we've gotta do alot of work, atleast 2 months. During these 2 months, we'll be working this blog and keeping you up to date.
I am going to post our wireframes. Quite outdated, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect. We've added quite a few more features and changed it up quite a bit, so when it gets more beautified, we'll let you know here :D
Let us know what you want and how fast you want it. Thats it!
Yes, all of them. We'll give you an honest & quick breakdown of cost.
You get premium markup on time & on budget with a week to adjust!
I may work here full time, but I can't deny the usefulness of the GraffitiCMS as easily one of the simplest, most powerful CMS's I've used in quite some time.
