BarcampTX 2008

Quite possibly one of the best barcamps I've ever been to, and I've only been here for 5 minutes.

So in the first few moments of entering BarcampTX '08, I was impressed. Two Macbook Pro's await you upon entering the doors, where you register your name. Interesting, however, is at the end of this registration, it asks for a photo number. iPhoto awaits you, so go ahead and cheese it up for your registration. Simple, but extremely clever.

We got a fantastic, immediate tour of the Creative Space's office space, naturally to see for the first time Always Creative's office space (we work with them quite a bit), but also to get right to the beer ;)

Always Creative and their different office space partners really have every aspect of whatever you may need. Maybe I'm small time, but having a pro photographer on staff for a Web / Tech / Design company impresses me. It also impressed me when, after walking through the door nearly, we were told to get our pictures taken in the studio! Tell me about  a BarCamp you've been to that has done that for all of it's guests!

We're slated to go on and speak about our CSS Framework around 7, and I'm very excited to demo the amazing things we've unearthed as we try to ease the pain between designer and developer, hope to see you there!
